I was able to fiddle around with things and make adjustments that I was rather impressed with. Several of my mom's old 2x2 slides had faded or just weren't that great to begin with and I was able to adjust the color and brightness. I'll attach a couple of examples. The red one was only visible as half a slide until I adjusted the color in the scanner and was actually able to see what was under the red splotch!
