“Can this fan be placed vertically?”

• No, it cannot be placed vertically. Additionally I have had a very bad experience with this fan. In power spikes, this fan simply dies and cannot be repaired. They sent me replacement fans twice, but after 6 months, they just stopped working. Lasko does not provide the parts even if I determine what the problem is. (I am an electrical engineer). The electronics in the fan is poor quality.

• Yes, the linked Product Brochure shows the fan placed vertically in some installations.

• Yes it can! I have used this fan exclusively 100% vertically for 3 years every summer. Never had an issue once. Still chugging along great.
