Great question. The dimensions of this unit are as follows: 26 1/2"L X 8 1/4"W X 22"H. This unit can be viewed at this link: https://www.laskoproducts.com/products/16-inch-electrically-reversible-window-fan-2155a/ . The outside facing part of the unit is designed to resist damage due to moisture and normal weather conditions. However, during any severe weather conditions, we recommend that the unit be removed from your window, per the user manual.
