If you use the Lectron Level 1 NEMA 5-15 Tesla EV charger at home in the U.S., your electric bill will go up, but not drastically unless you drive long distances every day. Since it's a Level 1 charger, it charges slowly and uses a standard 120V outlet, which means it's relatively light on electricity compared to faster Level 2 chargers. Most users who charge overnight at home see a moderate increase in their monthly electric bill — noticeable, but usually less than what you'd spend on gas for the same mileage.
