Looks like officially only windows at launch, but you can install SteamOS yourself just like the Legion Go 1.

No, this device will not come with SteamOS unless it is a Lenovo Legion Go S or a Steam Deck, as Valve offi- cially supports SteamOS only on those two handhelds. While it's possible to install SteamOS on other devices, it's not rec- ommended because the OS is optimized for the Steam Deck's specific hardware, and offi- cial support for other hardware is still in early stages.

You don't need steamOS.  This unit is full Windows 11 OS.  You could login to Steam like your PC and have access to all of your steam games in library
