• Unsure about sideways, but if your wires are long enough I don't know why not. You can attach directly to drywall.

• It is recommended to install the upper box as intended to keep separation between the low voltage cords and the power harness. Despite its large size, it can easily hide behind a TV and should not be visible once installed. It is designed to be attached directly to drywall.

• Confused on the actual size of the upper box as I don’t have a lot of room behind the Tv and the mount. Can you provide actual dimensions
