Yes. You will need a punch saw to cut the hole for the upper and lower boxes. There is a great video on YouTube of installation that helps show how it goes together.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would recommend a drywall saw which can be purchased at any hardware store to cut the hole. A stud finder is also helpful to make sure you don't have fire blocks in the area for the installation. The kits instructions have a dual purpose card which you use to trace the cutout. No drill bits are needed, the kit has a remodel type edge catch to secure it flush to your wall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I place the face plate against the wall and use a pencil to draw it's mounting outline. I then use a handheld drywall saw (available at hardware stores everywhere) to cut the square out.
