“Replacement battery for an HP DV6-2155DX Entertainment laptop... Our laptop gets an alert screen when booting up stating that the battery storage is low and upon further investigation, apparently I need a new battery. The battery says to use an HP Spare 484170-001 (7F1024). What would the best replacement be for this battery without breaking the bank? Recommendations?”

Check with Battery Depot. I've replaced HP battery twice at 100.00 each. If you keep it plugged in it does ok. I removed battery, reinstalled, plugged in and stay that way. Only use it once in awhile. Finally broke down and bought new one.
