Is this a long lasting computer good for college? null

I would say so. I use for online computer classes. Very easy to use, reliable, and long lasting battery

Whether this model will be good for a college student depends on the work the student will be doing with this device. This is an entry level system. Meant for light use, doing Microsoft Office work, light browsing of the internet for a few hours a day. If this describes the work the student will be doing with this device, then it will be a good choice. The life span of any computer depends, of course, on the care given to it.
