No, since this a netbook it does not have the capability of playing or burning disks.

There is no CD/DVD drive within this model. There is a Micro-SD card slot on the device.

It has a slot for a scan disk, two USB ports & HDMI. No CD/DVD slot. Really nice laptop. Actually I am going to buy a second one for myself as my son uses this laptop for his school work.
