QuestionWhat type of operating system, harddrive and graphics card does this computer have?

- Answer Well, if you open the specifications tab, all that is answered... However, it’s a windows 10 home system. Standard current operating system. It has shared graphics on the chip and uses the hd610. Again, nothing past standard get the job done performance. Nothing in this price range is going to have a “graphics card”. Wrong type of machine and price range for that. The hard drive is very big at 500gb, but uses the older SATA type drive spinning at 5400 rpm (it gives up speed for size and price).

QuestionCouple of things. I see that unless a certified tech replaces the ram your warranty is voided. Is the Geek Squad considered a certified tech? I want to swap out the hard drive with an SSD. Is this possible?

- Answer Unless you are knowledgeable of how to do it don’t do it yourself as sad hard drives not all require a cage so the sit properly in the laptop. Also if you change the Hdd make sure you create operating system recovery disks or flash drive as a lot of laptops do not have disk drives anymore

- Answer No it does not. Word and Excel are part of Microsoft Office which is available for an annual fee. You can however use Google Docs for word processing.
