• This is a Chromebook. You will use Google Docs which is completely compatible with the Microsoft Office programs.

• You probably can but with only 32 Gig of space you might not want to, The Operating system takes up about a third of the hard drive space and if needs to upgrade you may run out of space eventually. I found this laptop excellent for simple tasks like email and internet searches but for more complicated tasks such as MS Office you might want something more powerful and with more space.
