On the edge of the cd/dvd door Left side, you may have to gently pry/ help it with your finger nail, while you press the V- underlined. You may have a cd/dvd that is stuck or there are times the door is jammed, by the shipping. If this little trick doesn't work you may have bigger problems and suggest you have a pro look at it. If the system is powered on and the door still doesn't open when you push the open button, there is a small pin hole above the open button. With a pin, push this unlock button to manually open the door. Again, the system must be powered up.
