A:Answer I think you misunderstand what i5 and i7 mean. This computer uses a Pentium CPU. Think of the CPU as the motor in a car. i5 and i7 would be different motors, but all three would make the car move forward. The difference is i5 and i7 chips are quite a bit more powerful. So if you want to do lots of video editing, play high end games, or do something else the requires a lot of processing "power", this computer might now be for you, and you should look for one that has an i5 or i7. But I have this computer and use it to surf the internet and do word processing and spreadsheets for work and it is plenty powerful enough for that! Hope this helps you understand.
