- Answer you applied yes to this answer, but I want to make sure I can get and play the apps on Goggle Play because even tho it is a Chromebook not all Chromebooks are compatible with Goggle play and I know this because I currently have a Chromebook and it is NOT compatible with Goggle Play. So just want to defenately make sure it is compatible with Goggle play apps. Thank You

While it is possible to connect an external CD/DVD drive to a Chromebook, external devices are limited as to storage of readable files, and media files are not, without drivers, compatible with the Chrome Operating System and cannot be installed on a Chromebook. ChromeOS users may best best off using an SD Card or External Hard drive for additional storage space.
