“Why would you make such a nice Chromebook, with a beautiful screen and refresh rate of 60. What a let down”

• I am not a Gamer, but for watching movies, editing video, and routine browser use, I don't notice any smearing or issues with this OLED screen powered by a strong GPU. And I've had it powering 3 monitors (two FHD and one 2k) at once, each monitor playing a different video. No problems. This Chromebook is FAST and at last, was configured with enough RAM to run fast.

• The likely reason is cost and battery life. Very few Chromebooks have 120 Hz displays and even MacBook Airs are 60 Hz.
