Based on the information provided by Lenovo, no to both: The RAM chips are soldered down, not RAM modules/sticks. The storage is Universal Flash Storage (UFS 4.0) similar to what is used in flagship cell phones.

Please try again later.The RAM is soldered, so not upgradable, but at least this Chromebook already has 16Gb of RAM --- which makes a huge positive difference in speed and capacity for running Crostini Linux apps. Lenovo doesn't advertise that the SSD is upgradable, and from what I can tell from the Maintenance manual, the SSD is not easily upgraded.
