Your mileage may vary based on many factors, mine has mostly hinged on screen brightness and how intensive the CPU is utilized. Per Lenovo: Battery life based on Google PowerQual V2 controlled web browsing tests on pre-production units running 135.16209.50.0 version. Actual battery life may vary based on factors like network conditions, location, settings, and usage.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The battery life is *very* good - better than any laptop I've ever had. I've been getting 14-15 hours per charge, but when I'm using the device, I'm streaming music, have dozens of browser tabs open, and usually running apps in Linux container, so it's not sitting idle. The screen is bright enough that I don't set it above 50% even during the day. I have noticed that running two external monitors (3 total monitors) will drain the battery more quickly - 12-13 hrs. - and of course, if you are powering an external hard drive or SSD drive, it'll affect your Chromebook battery life, just as it would with any other laptop. The efficient Mediatek SoC runs cool, so there's no cooling fan (and no fan noise!) which I've really come to like compared to my other laptop or older Chromebook.
