• Yes its a laptop and tablet. You can flip it into either or it can also be stood up in a way to be watched like a tv. Me and my family love it. I use it for work and the kids use it for gaming.

• NO. Do your research. Chromebooks run on a different operating system. They also are made to primarily run online and utilize online downloads. For example, my university required us to use an application to monitor our online exams. Chromebooks are not compatible with this application. So, I had to find a regular laptop or desktop that runs on Windows or an IOS system to be able to take my exams.
