“I bought this computer yesterday and have not heard the fan run once. Is this normal? Our old computer was so noisy. I just want to make sure that I didn’t receive one with a broken fan. If it’s supposed to be this quiet... I’m excited!”

• The Lenovo IdeaCentre 510A desktop does have an internal cooling fan. Processors are much more efficient today. The onboard fan will maintain the proper operating temperature for the device. You will hear the fan whenever it runs, this is normal.

• I can hear the fan but it is very quiet. The room has to be very quiet to hear it.
