Lenovo is 100% correct on this as to replacing the drive, but especially pay attention to prices. RAM has gone up by around 400% in the past 12-14 months, while drives have gone up around 50% in the same time, and neither will be going down any time soon. Having fun with all the new AI options available (Copilot, Gemini, Grok, etc.)? They're the ones to blame, since they take every bit of RAM and storage they can get hold of for those huge AI farms, and even with new planned construction of fabricating plants, that construction will take YEARS to catch up with the demand.

Also, given the cost of memory raising recently, we recommend checking yourself on the pricing of individual memory sticks, as it can change frequently.
