This Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15 Laptop, model number 82R4002PUS, ships with Windows 11 S-Mode, 64-bit Operating System installed. Windows 11 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 11 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can turn off the S mode. Which was the first thing I did when I got the laptop up and running. Once you turn it off, it cannot be turned back on. However, I doubt you'd ever want it on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can turn off the whole S thing if you're downloading things that aren't on the official Microsoft store. It's basically the first thing I did so I could download a different web browser. It does say you can't go back to S setup after doing so.
