As the Specifications portion states, the RAM is of the LPDDR type, which is basically part of the motherboard, so it cannot be removed or altered in any way, and there are no additional slots for more RAM, as some similar laptops have. However, if your needs are basic (watching videos, shopping, listening to music, email) and you need no more than a few applications open at a time, you will be fine.

Please try again later.Hey Pops, With this model IdeaPad 1, memory cannot be upgraded, as it is soldered to the systemboard, but you can upgrade storage by swapping out the included 256GB drive preinstalled in the laptop's single M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x2 slot for one of higher capacity.
