Can this laptop charged via Type-C port ? null

Hi, thank you for your question. In short, no. The USB-C port supports data transfer only.

Why do the specs say USB-c charging if it does not have it? Almost ordered while on sale but now I will shop somewhere else

-If I may interject, it seems they misread the question. They answered as if you asked can you charge the laptop with the c port. But you really asked can the laptop charge with the c port, which it should be able to anything you plug in will automatically charge.
