Any computer is going to require you to buy extra security in order to avoid pop-ups and hackers. No matter what, you're going to have to subscribe to some type of antivirus, malware software in some form or manner. There are still ones that you can purchase outright but that seems to be ending. It seems like the era of subscriptions is increasing and now there's a subscription for everything.
