A:Answer I don't understand what you mean by "better for a novice user."
A notebook capable of running Windows 10 versus a Chromebook would depend on your need and/or preference. For me, it was the need of having something small and capable while walking around campus. It browses fast between webpages, streamed videos quite well, and Google Docs is more than capable for my common needs. I have a laptop for more intense demands but I with the purchase of this c-book my laptop stays at home and mostly inactive. C-books will not be replacing your laptop or computer. A notebook with Windows might offer more versatility while offline and programs like Microsoft Office if that is your preference over Google Docs; however, n-books will not likely be replacing your laptop or computer either.
If this c-book lasts me the next year before I transfer to the university then I will think that $150 price tag will be a steal.
