• Yes, you can use a USB-based, Windows 10 compatible external CD/DVD drive. To play commercial CD/DVDs, you will need to switch from Windows 10 S-Mode to Windows 10 Home, this is free. Then you will need to purchase a 3rd-party Media Player software to play the commercial DVDs.
