Hi, Wyatt. It should work with two displays; however, you would have to use a USB 3.0 to video (what port is needed to connect to the second monitor, i.e., HDMI, VGA, or else) adapter as the USB-C port on this model supports data transfer only.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Buy one of these, and the 2 monitors will work: StarTech.com USB 3.0 to Dual HDMI Adapter, USB to 2x HDMI Monitor Converter for Windows
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bought this laptop. I use this to connect 2 montiors and it works just fine: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0725K1MHH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First off, Lenovo's reply is so wrong it's, uh, well, it's just wrong. (1) They state "USB-C port on this model supports data transfer only." What are they using for reference? The Specs say it has one USB-C 3.2; this type of connector DOES support video. Feel free to fact check me if you don't believe. (2) Lenovo then contradicts itself by saying that a "USB 3.0 to video...adapter" would provide connectivity to an additional external monitor. So apparently, even though the port doesn't allow video connections, this adapter will. What is that, magic? No video in, but video out? So is there an adapter that will also print money from the port? Second, and this is particularly addressed to "MarkC"): don't put questions in the Answer fields. You very likely won't get any response that way. Still, taking pity on you, I must point out that NOT ALL USB cables are the same. Some will conduct everything, some are power only, some data only, some are variations on the possibilities. It all depends on the pins used at the connection points. Finally, the short answer to the original question, is yes, this laptop supports two external monitors, one via the HDMI, the other via (one only) the USB-C 3.2 port. The latter will also allow use of a hub, for added connections, but don't forget YOU STILL NEED CABLES THAT ALSO SUPPORT TRANSMISSION OF ALL TYPES.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I attempted to set up the adaptor solution suggested by the Lenovo rep, specifically using this USB to dual HDMI adapter (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-usb-to-dual-hdmi-adapter-white/6418351.p?skuId=6418351), but the computer still fails to detect to detect any other displays. Any help?
