• Hey, thank you for your question. This IdeaPad and all other Windows devices will come with a 30-day trial for Microsoft 365, but will require a more long-term solution or auto-renewal to keep your access to Office apps like Word. The individual apps cannot be purchased, so you would have to purchase a bundle of Office apps that include Word or choose your preferred 365 subscription option.

• P.S.: Lenovo is incorrect. You CAN buy different components of the Suite, but the price difference makes it hardly worthwhile to not buy (or subscribe to) a version of the Suite.
