This IdeaPad features a diverse enough selection of ports to support what you're trying to do. For example, if using a wireless keyboard and mouse, they may share a USB transceiver (if not, each transceiver still has a place to plug in) which can plug into one of the two USB-A ports. Then, the external monitor can plug in via the HDMI port on the laptop and the other end of the HDMI cable to the monitor, should that monitor feature an HDMI port (if not, then an adapter to the corresponding video connector would be needed.)
