“In order to use Iris Xe Graphics, dual channel ram is required so it needs another stick or ram? Can I put a stick of 32gb ram? If I put a 32gb or 16gb stick will I still get dual channel instead of having to match the soldered 8gb with another 8gb?”

• Hey ALeX. We recommend using two memory modules that match in memory type, capacity, and speed to utilize dual-channel capabilities. If you used a 32GB module with an 8GB stick alongside it, the system would drop the higher performing memory to match the lower by default.
