• This model has 4 GB of internal memory + 4 GB in only 1 available slot. I tried to add 8GB and 16GB SO-DIMM DDR4, the laptop started up and the BIOS recognized 12GB and 20GB.

• You can upgrade up to 16Gb, but it will require a technician because it is soldered in. Not a simple snap out/snap in module. There is also only one slot, so it's a replacement, not an 'add'.
