“Have found the duet tablet, easy to use, good screen. Looking to purchase another one to replace an old tablet. Question is can the adaptive screen lighting be turned off or disabled, it is very annoying?”

My wife uses this table in all type of light and says she has never noticed anything annoying about the way it is lite. She has been using it off an on today in fairly bright light and now it is night and only very dim lights on and she says she doesn't notice anything adaptive. So, either it isn't annoying or she turned it off when she was going through the start up options.
