“Screen dims off & on by itself. Is it supposed to or a defect? My battery left time jumps wildly. Started full charge w/ 14 hrs left. In minutes went to 17:48 left, 20:27, 12:34 left, 13:13, 14:13, 19:29, 19:34, 20:32, 16:41, 21:42 then 22:12 left. Why??”

Hello, I can assist you with this. The Auto Dim is a setting within Chrome. To disable this Open chrome and type the following into the address bar chrome://flags/#auto-screen-brightness. From there you can change the setting from Default to Disabled. This should disable the auto-brightness.
