• Hey Kim, Although this IdeaPad Slim 3 has a touchscreen display, it does not feature the unique panel technology to support pen input. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

• With a touchscreen display meant for human contact, I would get a normal pen stylus with a soft rubbery like tip. If it works on a smartphone, it will work on this too. But I don't think this operates in tablet mode, which would make taking notes with a stylus rather annoying wouldn't it?

• There are different types of touch screens. This one is equivalent to using a finger instead of a mouse.
