No optical drive whatsoever. It will be very difficult for you to find a laptop with one, and those you may find will probably be older designs or used. You might have some luck with the few desktops that still include them. Reasons they aren't around anymore: save space, money and weight; improve cooling; speed (it's an old technology). Flash drives, or SD cards are faster and store more than even Blu-ray drives. If you really need one (e.g., watch a movie while in transit), buy an external drive (price: around $20-$50).
