do not buy any laptop with soldered memory. If the memory fails, you cannot replace it and you have to throw the laptop away. At least that is what I have been told by the Geek Squad. Anyone care to comment?

Please try again later.Hi again luislast, The memory is not upgradable as it is soldered to the systemboard (dual-channel, 16GB) and this IdeaPad Slim 3 features an M.2 2242 SSD slot. Given the storage slot the system features, the maximum storage the system can support is a 1TB M.2 SSD.
