Its now one year later since the question was asked... more user reviews are in. For gaming it gets the job done but it falls short on color accuracy (not great for photo or video editing) . However, when its on sale, $100 bucks or more off, it's a good basic starting monitor. But if you can squeeze out a few more dollars a consistent top performer is the ASUS - TUF 24.5” IPS FHD 280Hz model- VG259QMY.
