Once your device has been setup on your home network to set an alarm just say "Okay Google set an alarm" You can manually set the Alarm with the buttons on top of the device as well. If your Smart Clock Essential is having issues setting alarms please power cycle the device by unplugging it for 1-2 minutes. Plugging it back in, and allowing it to power on. If the issue remains please perform a factory reset by holding down the “Volume + and – ” buttons on top of your device for 8 Seconds. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am sorry you are having problems with the clock. However, I cannot answer this question because i do not use the alarm feature on the clock. Perhaps calling the manufacturer will shed some light on it for you.
