Is the ram soldered to the board? null

Hey, Djinn1973. The RAM is not soldered to the systemboard and this model has been tested to support up to 64GB DDR5-4800 memory.

No, but cannot confirm for the model you might get. They change frequently. I think even if they have a soldered RAM kit (usually 8gb or whatever) you can usually still put a decent sized upgrade RAM into the other slot and it runs great like that as well.
