• The third port is where you connect the power cord. The industry is heading toward UBC-C (thunderbolt) only which can be configured as a multiple type port using an adapter. Apple is currently putting ONLY 1 or 2 USB-C ports in all their computers. This is the industry stardard now to reduce size, weight, and cost. It’s really all you need.
