“What types of stylus pen is compatible with this laptop? I will be using this laptop as a college student to complete work so I would prefer to find something that is adequate for note taking, holds charge, and is affordable.”

You need to get a powered stylus. I picked up a Lenovo stylus to work with this. There are a lot of stylus's to choose from.
