Can the system memory be extended to 16GB (8GB+8GB) ? null

Not sure Nancy. I made a mistake when I gave this laptop a 5 star. It really should be a 3 star at best. Reason: The power cord is awful. It is only 6 feet long and the plug end is large and takes up both recepticle outlets. Demand that Lenovo improves the outlet cord before buying. Other than that annoying problem, I like it.
