I use OneNote for taking handwritten notes with the pen and making drawings. The Yoga sits flat and allows you to write just like a writing pad. OneNote also transcribes handwriting to text. Depending on your penmanship it does a fair job at that. Mine is about 75%. OneNote allows me to organize my notes and search for them when I need the info. I hope this helps.

You can use a pen for various things including jotting down notes, signatures on a pdf, system navigation, sketching and doodling, and more. Also, there is not a Lenovo app that can complete that function natively; however, it is possible in a number of Microsoft applications like Word and OneNote.
