Open box are sold as new with the same warranty.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought open box at Best Buy in excellent condition with more than 500 dollars off the tag price. The warranty starts from the day of open box purchase if you re-register this laptop with Lenovo (there is an option to re-register with an image of your receipt under warranty plugin within laptop itself). It took me less than a couple of minutes, plus image of the receipt, for warranty to start counting from the day of my, not the previous owner, purchase. Note, I bought it within 30 days of initial purchase, so cannot say if there is a rule mentioned in another answer to this question.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Although I didn't buy this as an open box, in the past I have bought a computer as an open box. Wouldn't do it again. The warranty begins when the laptop was first bought, so you get the remainder. Usually to get the Manufacturers warranty has to be within 30 days. Hope this Helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had no issues with warranty. If you request the information from Geek Squad to mail the Lenovo, they will honor the warranty from the day you purchased which requires you to submit warranty information to Lenovo with a valid receipt and other information.
