“I got this laptop about a month ago and I've been having trouble with plugging in 3.5mm headphones into the laptop. The built in mic works but any kind of plugged in headset with a mic seems to be extremely quiet. I have tried everything please help :)”

I had this same exact problem. Try going to the Lenovo Support site and download the latest drivers. That is the easy fix. If that doesn't work then do some searches on Google. I think I was able to fix that one myself by uninstalling my sound card and then restarting my computer. Windows Updates screw up a lot of the basic functions of this laptop. It is infuriating. I've had to search for my own solutions for the audio jack, my microphone, speakers, fingerprint scanner, and, most recently, my wireless card. After the Windows Update on 10/5/20 my laptop wouldn't hold a wi-fi signal for more than 2 minutes. Makes searching for a solution online a frustrating day.
