It takes no more than 20 seconds to uninstall it. Press the windows key, start typing “add or remove” and you’ll see a result for add or remove programs. It pulls up a list of installed programs on your computer in alphabetical order. Scroll to mcafee, select the options next to it, uninstall. You have to say yes I want to uninstall, yes I know I have a free trial and still want to uninstall, and then the uninstall is done in seconds. That’s all.

Even after a thorough attempt to remove, there are still artifacts in the registry. McCaffe is not a simple program removed by going to settings and uninstall.
