The non-Slim models are 2-in-1 designs. The "Slim" models are not 2-in-1 designs. They are slightly slimmer and lighter (hence the name) and have slightly better cooling than the non-Slim models.

With the Yoga Slim 7 and 9 series, you can see a focus on design aspects, like how this Yoga Slim 9i has a 98% activate area ratio OLED display and aluminum design with a reflect 3D swirling pattern, with a revolutionary Camera-Under-Display (CUD) -- the World's First CUD in a laptop. We hope that this helps, and please feel free to reach out to us with any other questions!
