It did for me. I did not have to modify the door for to add this lock to my front door setup. That was the reason to purchase this option over a Kwikset remote lock. Wanted the traditional look for the front door.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Level deadbolt will replace the “guts “of your existing one. You will retain the inner and outer parts of your original one. I liked that because it still matches the door handle. Hope this helps.
