• Depend on virus types. You need dimension of it. Some 100 nm or 0.01 micron. Some smaller than that some bigger. it can filter out 99.95% up to .01 micron or 100 nm. Anything = or smaller still have chance to pass right through. However, virus and bacteria sometime stay in air droplet from coughing which droplet in big size and give more chance to be filtered out.
